Thank you for participating in TCOOP Event #29, $215 NLHE 10-max Shootout Super-Knockout.

As you are aware, technical issues with the operation of this tournament resulted in 1,042 players being allowed to register for the tournament despite the 1,000 player cap. As a result, 84 players played an additional round of heads-up poker at the start of the tournament. You were one of the 42 players who played and lost.

Due to the nature of shootout tournaments, such rounds with few heads-up matches do sometimes occur. However, in this case, we published a player cap of 1000 entrants that, when combined with the number of players registered in the time leading up to the event, would cause you to reasonably conclude that the event would begin with full or nearly full tables. Because you might have decided to play only due to such a conclusion, we are issuing a full refund of your $215 buy-in and entry fee for the tournament.
